Beyond the Basics
In scuba, there is always more to learn and experience. Once you have your initial certification, the possibilities are unlimited!
Continue your education with the Advanced Open Water class – five different types of dives under the supervision of an instructor that will introduce you to a variety of new opportunities. Then join a Rescue Diver class, where you expand on what you have already learned about preventing problems and how to manage them if they occur. Or do you have a special kind of diving you want to learn more about? Practice photography, explore wrecks and more? We offer a wide variety of Specialties for you to continue your education.
Advanced Open Water Diver
Exploration, Excitement, Experiences. This is what the Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. And no, you don’t have to be “advanced” to take it. The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your Instructor.
How far will you take your scuba diving? With Specialty diver classes, you can expand your diving knowledge and skills to enjoy the many different aspects of diving, including wreck diving, digital photography, night diving, dry suit diving, enriched air (nitrox) diving, deep diving, boat diving – and much more!
The Divemaster program is the first step into the professional ranks of scuba diving. Working closely with our PADI Instructors, you will expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. PADI Divemaster is the prerequisite certification for both the Assistant Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications.
During the PADI Divemaster program, you will learn about procedures and responsibilities through both classroom and independent study. You complete water skills and stamina exercises, training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems, and practice helping others improve their dive skills. You put this knowledge into action through a structured internship and a series of practical training exercises.
The Rescue Diver Course is the most challenging and rewarding continuing education course you will find! You will be trained to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well-being of other divers. This is an exciting way to build your confidence and dive skills.
